Who are we?
If you’re having difficulty managing your tenancy or struggling with the day-to-day challenges of running your own home, we can help. Our service is here to support you to manage your tenancy. It’s not supposed to replace social services, the NHS or any other council/statutory service.
Our tenancy sustainment service works with both new and existing residents who have been referred to us by Soha colleagues who are Community Neighbourhood Officers, or in the Rental Income, Lettings or Independent Living teams.
This list is typical of who we have helped recently:
- tenants who have not rented before
- residents with drug and/or alcohol issues
- residents with mental health issues (we can work with you to make a referral)
- households who are struggling as young parents
- refugees
- older people
- residents with mobility or other issues that make daily life difficult
- residents who are ex-offenders or are at risk of offending
- residents with a learning or communication difficulty
- households with a hoarding issue.
