This is a grant that allows you, as a Soha resident, to make small improvements to your shared (communal) areas. You can request items like lighting, plants, fences or benches, etc.
Your project must meet the following criteria:
- It must benefit Soha tenants or their children, although we encourage your project to add value to your whole community
- The maximum amount you can apply for is £500
- It must be a one-off project or investment in the neighbourhood you live in.
This grant is not for everyday repairs or work on individuals’ homes.
After we have received your completed form, you will get a confirmation that we have received it. Your application will be reviewed by a panel made up of Soha staff and the Portfolio Holder for Estates (a resident who is a member of Soha’s Members’ Forum) at the next Estates Portfolio meeting, which is held every three months. You will hear back with the decision within a week after this meeting.
