I look after my home – so why do I have mould?
Mould is caused by excess water and is often the result of condensation in a home. If left untreated, mould can lead to problems that could affect your health (i.e. respiratory symptoms, respiratory infections, allergic rhinitis and asthma) and the condition of your home.
How can I help keep my home healthy?
We’ve worked with a group of housing associations, and the Energy Saving Trust, to create The Healthy Home Handbook for anyone who needs support with managing condensation in their home.
If you would like this handbook translated, please email communications@soha.co.uk.
There are even more top healthy homes tips below, alongside some handy information about what causes condensation and how you can limit it in your home.
